Otra vez!

Empiezo el año con buen pie y es que tengo esto abandonado de tal forma que desde el año pasado no actualizo y no estamos en reyes para decir que el año pasado fue hace dos días, hace casi 3 meses desde que empezó el año y casi dos meses antes fue el salón del manga que fue cuando actualicé ^^u
Como muchas cosas he llevado este cosplay en secreto porque no sabía exactamente si iba a llevarlo en el Japan weekend, no sabía si iba a ser concretamente esa version del personaje y tampoco sabía si lo terminaría a tiempo porque con al escuela voy un poco de culo t.t

empiezo con una imagen de referencia y hago etiquetas cual estudiante de historia (?)

(esta imagen pertenece al capítulo 27 de Gurren Lagann y es un spoiler como una catedral pero es algo bastante evidente xD mi madre se lo comió con patatas porque me dijo que quería ver dónde salía el vestido xD version Nia novia del anime)

(no tengo una foto en que se vea especialmente bien la peluca, pero si puedo decir que me costó 12 euros y estaba bastante bien para el propósito que era recogerla, yo ya tenía una pero no quería arriesgarme a estropearla porque vale 38 euros)

(en mi escuela he cogido la costumbre de dibujar los figurines con la ropa por delante y por detrás, también lo dibujé de lado, no tenía porque hacerlo pero se veía más pro supongo :3)

A partir de un patrón de una revista modifiqué uno base con mis medidas para que me fuera como un guante, pero también me tuve que adaptar porque mi cuerpo como el de cualquier persona no es igual que el de otra.

(como mi madre ha hecho limpieza exhaustiva de mi lugar de trabajo el patrón se ha ido a la mierda, pero para hacer una idea rápida el patrón tan solo era algo corto y le faltaban costuras o industrialización que se llama, vamos, dejarle margen para coser, y luego de esto hubo que hacerle modificaciones, let's go)

(aquí se ve la parte delantera solita, le hice esas pinzas de cintura hasta llegar al pecho y haciéndolo redondo porque antes de hacer el vestido, para el cole, tuve que hacer uno que la parte de arriba era casi idéntica y vi que la parte del pecho se me levantaba por los lados, y esta fue la única solución rápida y viable)

(aquí monté la parte de detrás y luego tuve que repetir todo el proceso para el forro, que está hecho de la misma tela pero tiene un inconveniente, que está cortado al contra-hilo y se dio un poco de si)

(en las últimas dos imágenes fui viendo como iba quedando, y se me arrugaba bastante feo en la espalda, porque tengo la espalda bastante curvada, lo arreglé haciéndole unas pinzas y ale)

No tengo fotos de la falda porque no me pareció una parte muy importante del proceso, era un rectángulo recto de largo eran mis piernas + tacones, de ancho le di todo lo que tenía de tela, no la medí siquiera. En el momento de confeccionarlo le dejé todo lo que pude de tela por detrás para que hiciera más forma en el culo.

(ah, e aquí un poco de mi desorden, aquí se ve la falda cortada todavía por montar, xD pero eso de verse, se ve más bien poco xD)

(este fue el proyecto de vestido que hice para el colegio en el cual luego me basé para las medidas del de Nia)

(un podo de detallismo, conseguí la piedra esta que lleva en el pecho yendo a Servei estació, donde me sonaba anteriormente haberla visto, la sorpresa fue para mi ahora dolorido bolsillo cuando en caja me quisieron cobrar 4 euros y algo por una caja donde habían unas 6 (?) piedras mas o menos. Con la prisa en si del cosplay porque a mi me gusta hacer las cosas de manera que no vaya de culo y la prisa del momento porque tenía que ir al dentista a quitarme la muela del juicio no pensé dos veces y las compré, a pesar de todo este follón las piedras eran transparentes, sin color, así que las pinté con pintura de cristal una verde y otras dos rojas para otro cosplay)

(otra crónica aún menos graciosa fue la de encontrar las piezas en forma de lágrima que lleva en el cuello, yo cuando me di un paseo por barcelona ya lo di por imposible, recorrí Santa Ana, bazares chinos, Casa Torres, un sin fin de tiendas y al final encontré las piedras si, pero costaban 6 euros, salía a cuenta puesto que venían muchas así que no dolió tanto el gasto, puesto que las podríamos usar para varias cosas, con estas piezas se hicieron también los pendientes que usaré para otra versión de Nia, tenían agujero para pasar hilo así que hacer los pendientes no fue problema)

(esta imagen es de cuando estaba haciéndole a la parte de arriba una costura por la parte del forro y por fuera en el borde para asentarlo, la plancha se puso farruquita conmigo así que me ayudé de la máquina)

(un poco de ¿sabías qué...? Este detalle que es la rosa que lleva en el pelo pertenece a un ramo de rosas que venden en los chinos para colgar de la pared, tenía un montón de hojas y cosas que tuve que quitarle, pero aparte de eso solo tuve que coserlas al velo, en un principio fueron 8 rosas pero cuando me probé las rosas en la cabeza por primera vez en el evento lo vi tan horrible que las arranqué de cuajo)

No puedo poner un proceso de como hice el velo porque resulta que el velo en realidad era parte del vestido de mi madre que le sobró y simplemente tuve que descoserle un encaje xD.

Creo que faltan algunas cosas por explicar... pero me muero de ganas de enseñar el resultado final así que si de algo me acuerdo ya lo pondré xp

I'm Back

It's been a while since I don't make new entries in my poor blog t.t
Now it's time to explain, (like it was my diary) what I've done the last... 3 months? (Dunno)
My friend Arien and me were making Evangelion cosplay, the reason is clear, it was that Evangelion is epic, not as epic as Tengen Toppa (I love it) in the sense of fucking great characters but in the sense of popular and little old so it was popular between the people we knew and older.
Leaving those reasons I think the serie is good, I saw the first serie with English subtitles (so I can improve my poor English) and I enjoyed both much. I saw the serie in my way to school, I really took advantge of it.
Okay, time to cosplay bussines, I'll begin with materials matters. It's true that I couldn't find the white elastic leatherette in my city but I was lucky that a friend of my, Sarai went to Jaen for holidays, I asked her to search this fabric in the shop of her town, and she found it.
Then was time to begin the prototipe of the cosplay, I mean, we first tried to do it in another fabric we got in home. Black and white leatherette. Reference pictures and patterns experiments...
With all my irony, let's enjoy xD

I took almost 20 pictures of Rei Ayanami to make the cosplay and then draw it to made it more clear, but for the details colour I took this pic.

My mother has a pattern from an older swimsuit so we change the middle of the back side so it has a little triangle.

(I put the pic of the prototipe so the color are opposites from the original and it's easier to see the triangle than when I was cutting the pattern in fabric)

The front side of the pattern was also modificated, the swimsuit are normally made of Lycra but the Evangelion plugsuit was leather, so I make a proof by the shape of the bra and putting bra rings but I didn't like it t-t so I fixed removing the rings and adjusting the suit. Then we cut a little part that goes in other color.

it's time to show the legs, and the true is that I had no clue how to do it xDDD I did a trousers and dressed up with them and the swimsuit above. With a pen I drew the form of the leg. Then I undressed and got a shower so it was hot inside the cosplay xDDD
(That's the result with the black "belts" I call them belts so I made it like belts xD)

And then my favourite part (that's also ironic) the sleeves, I drew them 4 times, I looked the references pics thoasand times but I didn't understand until I repeated the drawing 4 times xD)

The shoes I bought for this cosplay was another lucky more, I went to Granollers, (where Arien lives) to stroll trough the market, and we found them just for 1 euro lol I will not explain how to do the shoes because this is a Arien's matter, she found in one tutorial how to do it and was the first making the proof.

Oh my god, i'm writing for an hour ^^u

Bag, the fucking bag she wears, at first I tried to get the measures from a picture but it was impossible so I turned on the computer and traced the bag form from the screen with pattern paper, then I fixed with some technic drawing.

Then cut it in polystyrene.

(I made this in the garage, and still there are polystyrene everywhere fuck...)

I arrive to details, I know that there's a lot of thing to explain but now i'm tired and really need to see something "finished"

(I used this to made a black line in the leg sewing, it was as easy as sew it to the leg and then join the leg with the swimsuit)

(I found the buttons in a Chinese store (the reds ones) and I got blacks in my house, I painted the red ones to white and the black to silver, like this:

(I've got 5 or 6 pages full of drawings of the cosplay, this is the 0, this time I also used the computer to make them, I was very lazy ^^u)

Long time ago I put the pattern of the gloves I used for the Miku Sinchronicity cosplay, is the same pattern but the back side is baby blue, this fabric also have it's history, I swear I begin those kind of cosplay before so I can finish a months before the cons xD There was no blue Lycra in my city so I go where my grandma town and found it~~ But, altought it's not appreciated in the photos the fabric I used was printed with gold drawing, but I put the fabric on the reverse and no one noticed Xp

I bought the things she wears on the head so It was more expensive to do it handmade.

The things she were under the boobs are also made like the bag

Hi,
(it seems a letter xd) it's been a long since I edit for last time my blog, sincerely I hadn't been that busy but been keeping some cosplay things in secret so it was a request of my friend and partner cosplayer Arien.
This time i'm not coming with cosplay things so I dedicated my time to sew things for other people and for my BJD (ball jointed doll), it was difficult for me so the doll clothes are more difficult to do. I'm waiting for having some success doing this so I can sell it and get enough money to do my cosplay without worrying about.
The only thing I don't even know it's the price wich I must put to the clothes.

I'll put some pictures, let's enjoy.


(this a set of a jacket and trousers made of black leatherette, they are the first made in my life so they are a little short, and in my opinion needs some iron xD)


(this dress it's been made more by my mother than me xD (the doll it's not my, it's from Yuriko ^^ of course I not sell this dress, I will do another one ^^)

I would like to show the process of the clothes I make so people can made by theirself, but it's a good bussines to sell dolls clothes.

Bueno, he hecho un little video en inglés, es el tutorial para hacer los cascos d magnet que luego complementaré con todas las fotos que hice del proceso con una breve explicación.

Los que veréis en el video son los que hice para una amiga y no los míos, los míos tuve algo más de tiempo para acabarlos (aunque quedaron peor)

Aprovecho para poner todo lo del cosplay xD

The velvet is a straight part with the lace I bought in the near haberdashery in my town so it has no mistery, as the other part of the dress, the top is sewn and re-sewn, and the skirt is pleated until it goes to my waist.
(el cinturón es una tira recta con el encaje que compré en la mercería más cercana d emi pueblo así que no tiene gran misterio por mi parte, las otras partes del vlestido, la parte de arriba está cosida y vuelta y la falda está plisada (arrugada como yo lo digo) hasta que me iba a la cintura

( I re-make the design so I found the true dresses and it was a different cosplay partner (arien desu) so here it is <3)
(Volví a hacer el diseño porque encontré los verdaderos vestidos y además tenía una compañera de cosplay distinta (Arien), así que aquí están)


(the black part is exactly the same as the base but it has been cut so we can see the color base in the little holes)

(I used cardboard to make the earphone part but it's good to use whatever it's easy to cut, then i you have the part you can glue the drawing to this part)
(yo he usado cartón para hacer la parte de la oreja, pero cualquier cosa que sea fácil de cortar puede ir bien, cuando tuve eso hecho le pegué el dibujo)


( I used 3d paint to make the blue part, it's true that this time i failed because it was the first one, but I've got a great result after, the same picture shows the diadem that I decorate as I wish)
(he usado pintura 3D para hacer la parte azul que sobresale, es verdad que esta vez he fallado porque era la primera, pero luego conseguí un buen resultado, la misma imagen muestra como he decorado la diadema al gusto del consumidor xD)
